is medical informed consent legaly walid if was obtained by the patient even though he had not met or spoken to the surgeon that performed surgery on him?It was obtained by so called hair transplant consultant who is not physician has no medical background.The patient met the doctor first time 10 minutes before surgery when the doctor had so called consultation,one day after consent was signed.The patient was mislead and conned into hair transplant surgery that was scheduled before patient was examined and had a chance to wage the pros and cons of surgery.

Absolutely — informed consent says that the individual has had the opportunity to ask questions of a medical professional — a transplant consultant isn’t getting a job in a hospital as a transplant consultant unless there’s some sort of medical background — no doctor on the face of the Earth would do that.

A patient isn’t conned into surgery — he/she ALWAYS has the opportunity to say no — it isn’t a . . . come here, sign this, let me chop you up . . . thing.

More importantly — if there was a day lapse between the time the consent was signed and the time the surgery was performed — then he had the opportunity to weigh the pros and cons of the surgery . . . and his claim wouldn’t stand half a chance.
