How To Curl Your Hair With A Curling Iron

Keep the hot iron away from your scalp while performing the hair style else it may burn the skin of your scalp. Also, you have to ensure a modest temperature of the curling iron, which is neither too hot to burn your hair nor is it too cold to get the desired curls easily. Do remember to deep-condition your hair at least once a week if you curl your hair regularly. First Step: To begin with, apply a good quality styling gel, spray, or mousse to clean and dampen your hair. Blow dry the wet hair until it gets thoroughly dry. You will achieve the better curls now, which will last longer if you use the good quality of hair products.

Second Step: Now separate your hair in different sections, and clip these sections back one by one. Then, select one section and release it from the clip. Third Step: Start with the under section of your hair, proceeding up to the top. Press the lever to open the curling iron then insert your hair into the barrel. Now, shut the barrel on the ends of your hair ensuring that all the ends of that section are completely enclosed in the barrel.

Fourth Step: Once, the ends of all hair are well inserted inside the barrels of the curling iron, roll the iron upwards and hold that section of the hair well tangled up to the scalp at least for 10 minutes.

Fifth Step: Now, open the barrels of the curling iron and release the curls lightly proceeding downwards. Repeat the process with other sections in similar manner till you achieve the curls of all the areas.

Sixth Step: Once you are through with the curling of all the sections, shake the head so as to release the curls falling down freely. Now style the hair with your fingers to shape the hair in a proper manner.

Seventh Step: The styling is over now and what remains is to spray your hair with a light hold hair spray so that the curls are held in place and order.
