There are only two pieces (and I mean proven scientifically studied in laboratories with control groups) chemicals that help reduce or stop hair loss. Minoxidil (Rogaine) and finasteride (Propecia / Proscar) are the two that are on the market which are approved by the FDA. People have had great results from both, but personally, I like to use Propecia. I used Rogaine, but not use the moment in my mind before going to bed, and would get on my pillow, then there. Not a big problem, but Propecia takes the form a pill and it is much easier to take. It should be noted that only two have been shown to aid the surface of the crown of the scalp and temple regions.
