Learn how to apply a discount less stressful in the salons and hairdressers, for children with autism

Take a child with autism to get his hair cut or style, a beauty salon or hairdresser can be a challenge for parents or caregivers. The event to do so too can be a pleasant Travel to the child and the stylists.

The first step would be to introduce the child or young person to a beauty salon or hairdresser before taking the person to the place where he or she has your haircut or hairstyle. It could be a fun game, represents the journey, or by drawing pictures of living beauty salon or hairdressing, showing how it looks before making their hair and a picture after the hair is completely in style. It is an excellent plan to find a stylist who understands children and knows how to handle autistic person to arrive at the place for the title or cut. It's a good idea to work with the stylist give you a better understanding of what you can follow the behavior of children with autism and how you can cut hair.

Make an appointment in advance and make sure that the stylist you want is available for the event, and up to date on what you expect your child during this event. It is recommended schedule your appointment when you know that your child is under stress during the day. This can vary with the stress of the day, behavior and personality. Could consider the morning after breakfast, after lunch, or may be a good time on weekends, when both parents are usually produced and available to participate in adventure.

It is imperative to note that accompanies the child with the disorder of autism in the barbershop or salon hairdressing. Is it the mother or father or both. The child may want to decide who he or she wants to go with them. These options can change every time or they can remain the same or even alternate with parents or caregivers. Respect your child's decisions.

Some children on arrival, has unable to enjoy the buzz of clippers or a feeling of vibration that is in the neck or head. Play a game with the child and use your imagination to try gently on top of his hand by calling it a machine "Tickle" to keep the child to be alarmed. Put them in the top of your hand as well. Ask the stylist to use a cartoon or a layer of color and attach to the neck, so that the person is protected against unwanted hair on clothing. Bring a toy or stuffed animal with you, or a favorite toy that the child likes and enjoy comfort and a sense of security.

If your child feels more comfortable and confident with you being next to them, when the hair is cut, do. You can sit in the chair, stylist and keep children with autism in turn give more security and confidence to the person where the hair are cut or trimmed.

Take a practice run with his son in the living room or salon. Show them the equipment to be used, let them hear the sound of scissors, hair dryers, show them where the bathroom is familiar with the environment, including the president stylist will sit.
